    There is no ASUS SLIC 2.1 at this time....with Asus slic 2.0, which is available, you will not be able to activate Windows 7 when it becomes available...so, it is up to you.

    I did not check to see if it has Raid Rom update....

    After updating bios with HP SLIC 2.1, activate Vista with the new HP certificate and OEM SLP Product Key and not the ASUS certificate.
