I think the All slics tested and not tested thread in stickies needs to be visited more often.. There seems to be a LOT of duplicate work being done..unnecessarily I may add. Aside from the SLIC v.02.1 that is.... Wouldnt it be a stinker if they didnt even work with the Certs available in the fall??
i'm planning to install osx along with vista (dual boot coz i wanna have it all ) on asus eeepc 1005ha AMI bios. vista successfully installed with bios mod 2.1 with the help of by busykid508, 911medic and many other experts here. i read in some other forums that bios modification is needed to run osx on certain machines. i am wonderin which part of the bios are they modifying? and is it possible to do it alongside with SLIC bios mod? can it be done here? dsdt (whatever it is) and slic 2.1 bios mods? am i in the right forum????
I think everyone is so bonzo over activating W7 before it even comes out RTM, maybe it would be funny...I have no doubt that we would have the right stuff eventually..
Yes, you can flash the bios of which I modifeid over the older version of bios. And I cannot verify or guarantee that the flasing of your bios will not turn your computer int a brick
Thx for your answer but it doesn't work and when I try to make a report, RW says "Access Violation at address FFFFFFFF. Read or address FFFFFFFF." and then it stops to work...
