    Glad it worked for you and yes, if you update with a new bios, you will need to have it modified once again with SLIC 2.1 before installing or flashing it.

    Seriously, has anyone ever looked at a Mac bios to see if its possible to insert SLICs? Or maybe they are too different...

    Hi! I've got an Acer Aspire 1603 laptop. Its bios can't boot from usb so i can't reinstall my OS as my dvd drive is broken. Can anyone help me?Thank you
