There are only 2 options to install a Operating System - one is a USB Flash Drive and the other is a CD or DVD Drive. Since both of those options are not available for you, I do not see any other options for you other than you have to get the DVD Drive fixed and working or borrow someone's DVD Drive to install your operating system.
You will not be able to activate Windows 7 OEM until the Windows 7 Certificates are issued and the OEM SLP Product Keys are issued. Since Windows 7 is not officially released and probably won't be until Oct. 24th, you will have to wait for the certificates and the OEM SLP Product Keys. And DO NOT BE SO SURE that you have the final RTM of Windows 7....that remains to be seen in spite of a lot of people on this forum who claim that Windows 7 RTM is released and they have a leaked copy of it.....to me that is ridiculous and they blowing smoke up people's butts.
Probably wont see certs before September..Plenty of time to keep re-arming. You can get a good four months that way.. Are you sure you have the RTM..Kinda soon. I have my doubts about the "leaks" I have seen, although the W7 forum is a bit humorous...
