First, there is NO RTM Windows 7 version - I am saying this against a tide of people on the internet who claim to have a RTM Windows 7 version.... The ACTUAL and TRUE RTM version of Windows 7 will not be available until October 24th...and anyone who claims to have an RTM version of Windows 7 is blowing smoke up everyone's butt. Second, you will not be able to activate Windows 7 as an OEM until Windows 7 certificates and OEM SLP Product Keys are issued. And since Windows 7 has yet to go RTM, there are no Windows 7 OEM SLP Product Keys and Windows 7 Certificates. Therefore, there is no activation of Windows 7 as OEM...
Then why did you asked a question about activation of Windows 7? The reason is because you are under the impression that Windows 7 has gone RTM when it has not... I am not here to pick a fight with you but there is truth and then there is BS....and the hype which says Windows 7 has gone RTM is BS.
I didn't ask any questions about Windows 7 activation and wasn't asking for anything from anyone. What I was saying is that with the BIOS you so generously created, Windows 7 should activate when OEM Certs and Keys become available. I fully understand the current state of things. In all of Microsoft's history of Windows, they have never changed ISO images after they declared them to be RTM as they did on 7/22 and then posted them on 7/24. If this time becomes an exception, it will be a major surprise. I was not trying to anger you. I was trying to thank you for your hard work and let you know the Asus P4C800-E Deluxe BIOS was working properly.
