    Clear cmos and load defaults..check in everest,preferred RWEverything, and find the slic code..

    With SLIC 2.0, you will only be able to activate Windows Vista but will not be able to activate Windows 7 when it comes available..

    With SLIC v2.1, you will be able to activate Windows Vista and Windows 7

    However there is no ASUS SLIC v2.1 at this time....so, it is up to you and I am about to head out to get something to eat...

    The DELL SLIC v2.1 gives you a lot more options.

    . . . very thoughtful of you to give the options as you see them; but an ASUS 2.0 SLIC will work fine for installing Vista - I have an Asus DVD - into this little box.

    . . hope the eats is good . . . :)
