    Hi,
    Ihave acer aspire 9810 laptop. The current bios is ver 2.14 vista(sorry dont know how to link from acer ftp).COULD THIS BE MODDED TO HAVE SLIC2.1 FOR WINDOWS 7.

    Installed new SLIC 2.1 BIOS onto DFI UT P35 T2R and then installed Win7 Ultimate (supposed to be the retail version). Installed Dell cert. and cd key thru DOS. Win 7 activated immediately without any problems.
