    Sorry, I have not. The laptop came with XP, and currently has BIOS 1.2 on it.
    I will update the BIOS to 1.5, install Vista, Cert & key and let you know.

    It looks like your license status is ok. I don't know if you even need a modded bios, SP1 might install just fine they way things are now. If it doesn't you can always flash the modded bios afterwards and reimport the OEM certificate. You can also run VOATK tools and it can tell you if any of the softmods are installed on your system.

    M3a78-emh Hdmi 0501

    I tried with the first link, update with "asus update" and everything it's working fine. No "ROM file boot block is not valid" messages. I have update the bios from original 0501.

    It is NOT recommended to use asusupdate to flash.
    There are a few models that will be killed if you flash with asusupdate.
    The same thing applies to Ez-flash.
