What makes you say that? I got a Vanilla install made from the leaked links from Microsoft and also got Vista with SP1 that I got from a torrent. Those screenshots were taken before I tried to do anything activation wise. I've looked all over my system for a ROYAL.SYS file to see if there is a softmod on there but no dice..
I've just tried to use the BIOS rom and tried to activate but no dice.. When you say its got ACER SLIC... What did it have before then? Just asking so I can look for changes via EVEREST per say...
No I was flashing in Windows and I also tried DOS but ran the .bat instead... I'm just in the midst of a reformat and reinstall then I'll try the "phlash16 /x /s /c /mode=3 /BBL /pn CLB-132.WPH" Hope by the time I've finished reinstalling then, maybe other members such as Fzeven could have a look at this problem as you kindly suggested. If they ever get to see this of coz. Many thanks
