I want to know wheter or not i need a bios mod as it is impossible to extract the bios form the QBios installer BenQ uses (i've tried unshield in Ubuntu to unpack the cab's inside to no avail). My SLIC info is: Memory Address 3F6DBE8Ah Table Length 374 bytes OEM ID BenQ OEM Table ID Joybook Creator ID LTP BenQ S32B notebook with "phoenix" bios. Do i really need a bios mod? I've tried putting a BenQ cert in the right folder on the installation medium and do a clean install of vista with integrated sp1 but it didn't work. Any answers, tips and ideas are greatly apriciated.
WHS activation Hi, Is there a way to mod a bios in order to activate a Windows Home Server or maybe another way to do it? I can't find any info on that on the web. FYI: I'm using a ASUS motherboard A8N-VM CSM Thanks in advance Christophe
