    Bios flashed
    Confirmed Dell slic with everest
    Ran Vista Oem activation to apply certificate and key
    Reboot, no activation

    Do any of the new windows updates affect this process?

    I am using the Vista upgrade DVD. SP1 not installed.

    I have activated Vista via same method several other times. All have been sucessful. All with Asus slics though.

    You can dupm your bios that is curently residing in your memmory with HWdump.
    Run HWdump and go to memmory dump
    dump it from FFF00000 with 100000 lenght.

    Or you can use ACPIscope and save your bios as *ats file.
    Before you save the *ats file load your bios from the bios icon not form the registry.

    This way your bios can be examend by the modders.
