q about biosmod Hi all, I modded an xfx 680i p32 bios that was modded here, a bit further. The asus slic p32 bios I got here works great on my 680iLT board but since the LT doesn't have 2 Gbit ethernet interfaces and 2 instead of 3 pci-e 16x slots I decided to mod these options out so it doesn't offer functionality that's not on my board. Now here's the catch. I used modbin6 2.01.02, loaded the p32.bin file and disabled the menu options for 1 nic(in the LT bios nic0 is disabled and nic1 is enabled so I disabled nic0 in the full 680i bios) and for pcie16 slot 3 and saved the bios as p32tst.bin. Does this mean the p32tst.bin still contains the slic mod? Did I do anything wrong? Did I assume anything that I shouldn't have? The modded p32.bin that I got here works on my LT board, does this mean that the p32 bios I did, based on that one, should work too? Patrick
Please for Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G Please Mod this Bios for me? Thank you in advance for the HELP Type Motherboard = Gigabyte GA-P31-S3G Bios= Award Bios Revision= F5
Thought i'd post a thanks for the "improved slic bios mod guide", not sure if this the appropiate thread. I didn't see anythign for supermicro boards. But i followed the guide, and sucessfully got my SuperMicro PDSGE modded. Only thing i had to difer from the guide was that i had to extend the memory search and use the second instance of the SLICv string found in HWDirect for the SLIC address. Works good now thanks for the guide!
