@Fzeven.. i'm sorry for my newer post.. i didn't find my earlier post b4.. n now i found it.. but, still, pls help me out with acer aspire 5550. that's my bro's laptop. i really appreciate ur help.. but, i want u to know about this: in my laptop (acer 4520), i installed vista succesfully activated with original BIOS (i think that was revision ver 3626. but the problem is: i can't update my vista. sorry, i forgot the error code. but i googled it, n people said there's problem with date and time in my laptop. but i'm sure it is because i'm using the original bios. though it is activated succesfully. that's why i asked for help to mod the bios, because my pc (abit ax78) using the modded bios, n vista can updating OL. am i right? my laptop can't updating vista bcoz using original bios? though it is activated? i'll give u feedback later w'ur modded bios for my laptop.. thx.. but pls, help me again w'my brother's laptop.. pls see my post #9152 thx a lot Fzeven...
Acer Aspire 4520 I think you got some other problem if you can't update. Make a dump with acpiscope & upload.
OEMID -ASUS- OEM TABLE ID Notebook So with this being said. Do i just use the SLIC from ASUS and a cert from ASUS when i flash? Is there one for my motherboard Gigabyte P35-DS3L Rev 2.0?
F4 Bios?I dont think the Ep35 has the same bios as the regular P35..Im running F8a right now .. Newest is F8f . wondering if someone can make one for my board with the newest bios
