hello could someone mod this mobo's bios for activating cpu vcore and fsb selection in bios? Model:ECS GF7100PVT-M3 tnx
Which file did you put to the flash card ? As I can understand from the *xls file in the archive the 2MB file is for recovering after a bad flash. Create bootable Floppy, acces it and select to see the hiden and system files from the folder options. Delete or rename the file config.sys if present. Couse we need DOS with no additional programs that are loaded, which could interfere with the operation of the BIOS flash application. Rename the bios to amiboot.rom and copy it to the Floppy. Create a new text file and name it autoexec.txt Open it and write the folowing text inside: @echo off AFU408 amiboot.rom /pbnc /n Save it and rename it to autoexec.bat Copy it to the Floppy. Copy the flash tool AFU408.EXE from the archive to the Floppy. Remove the battery and the power cord. Pres and hold the power button, and while holding plug the power cord. If no floppy access occurs press and hold Ctrl-Home to force update. When there is no more activity, wait for a while and restart the computer. Note. This version of AFU408 has the comand line as I described. You can see the available switches from DOS if you type AFU408 /?
It's a desktop computer, so there's no battery to remove. It has no floppy drive either, and since the monitor stays black, I can't see what's happening. Can the recovery process still be done somehow?
