If Vista Loader doesnt works for you Paradox will, but you cant install SP1, so bios mod is the only solution. The goal of a bios mod is to insert a set of strings in it, caled SLIC. Once you have a SLIC in the bios you can activate Vista with an matching cert, just as the OEM's does.
I dont think I will be able to mod a compq bios, maybe some of the more expirienced modders will. By the way post a direct download link for your bios. Couse the latest bios that I could find for your notebook is F.11 and I can see that yours is F.16. Look at other request for an exemple on how to make a request. Edit. I've found the latest bios F.16 and cant mod it, anyway do a proper request and maybe someone will answer.
your is the pro version, the boards are binned per specific board, your pro slic is rejected by my regular p5q as a mismatch, thanks for trying though
