ASUS Crosshair Thanks for the offer but there is now no need. I flashed the BIOS with a modified 0904 BIOS I found on this thread and now it will not boot up past the initial logo screen. It appears that this is a common problem with this board and as the BIOS chip is soldered on, its now a paperweight! I have used ASUS boards for 10 years now but after all my other problems with this board and reading the ASUS forums, I will never buy another ASUS board ever again. I've just ordered a cheap Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 to get me going again, so I may need a SLIC BIOS for that when it arrives Thanks once again for all your hard work, MK.
new laptop Asus M70SA-X2 Is there a mod bios? Sorry if this is a newbie question but I'm looking to throw ultimate 64 on my new beast and wasn't sure if there was a mod out there for this laptop. Or do i need to give more specific information? Again sorry if I'm not asking for this in the correct way thanks ahead of time
I have been reading on the forum for a few hours before posting this and I cannot find any answer to my question. I already have the new Mod BIOS for my PC, but it does not look like a BIOS file, still has the appearance of a white paper. I would like to know what am I suppose to do next. I did burn it to a CD to flash my BIOS but it did not work. I am pretty sure that I am doing something wrong. Please, I appreciate all the help I can get and if I am posting this on the wrong section let me know where I can post it and also receive my apologize for doing so. Thank you for everything, you all have been wonderful to me. This is the name of the mod BIOS: bios.rom_Slic_Sony Also Windows Vista is already activated and I don’t know if that will complicate things.
