@GraceSlic This is an updated BIOS, different from the one uploaded by China4Ever. As mentioned in my original post, China4Ever had offered us a SLIC'ed BIOS for Abit IS7-G (requested and tested by megawatt). I've tested that one too and it worked great without any modifications. While it was based on the latest version of BIOS update from Abit (in 2005), it regretfully does not incorporate the latest 2007 BIOS of its onboard Silicon Image 3112 SATA RAID Controller chipset (v4.2.84). I have experimented with replacing the outdated onboard RAID BIOS component with the newer version (v4.2.84) using China4Ever's SLIC'ed BIOS as foundation. The result was that while the onboard RAID BIOS updated successfully on reboot, Windows VISTA was no longer Activated. I tried re-flashing my system back to China4Ever's SLIC'ed BIOS and immediately Windows reverted back to Activated status. This suggests that my step of updating the onboard RAID BIOS component must have somehow crippled the SLIC table and hence the activation status. Now I don't know how Fzeven has done it, but with his modified BIOS I am now able to have both the Activated status and the latest Silicon Image onboard controller BIOS ! Fzeven, thank you soooo much! Without you my i865PE would've had to retire much sooner
