Yes, my vista is activated, no more countdown. I proceed like you told me, using the cmd line: After that, i click on activate and it pass. My only question now is it will still be activated if i'm doing all the updates? Not so sure... btw, i haven't try thr wow/grub activation.
It seems that you've used MAK key to activate, couse if the activation is OEM SLP, than there is no need to click on activate. You can freely install all updates, and there is no need for wow/grub.
Multiple Activation Key? It's for huge licences volume isn't it? I don't know exactly what it is, but it work at the moment. I Will try to do a Windows update but i'm a bit scary of the results to be honest...
Ok, but what is your Vista dvd? An oem one? If yes, please specify. In my case i have a HP notebook but i'm using a brand new Dell vostro Vista DVD, with the right product key. What about you?
I used a DVD which I downloaded from the internet (usergroups). Not OEM. Vista was activated (emulated BIOS; softmod), but SP1 killed it. Still 13 days left....
