In my opinion, ACPIscope is better than Everest in situations like this because ACPIscope also provides a dump of the SLIC table instead of just providing the header like Everest does. In addition, ACPIscope is able to save the BIOS information so that it may be uploaded to be inspected by another member if needed.
BIOS can't see all memory (2GB), only 127MB. And i cant able to set timings, frequency. ps: no problem, only a joke. mod2: without mod, is no problem with memory.
So what do I do now? When I run that everest or acpi thingy what do I do when I run it? I'm the type that just likes to point & click anything more than that it feels like work... Can someone mod the bios for me? If no one is able to then what are my alternatives? Thanks all.
You probably gave shay_g a heart attack but that was funny..lol. EDIT: I guess it's not a joke. I'm confused.
let me take a photo of it? There is a menora inside the bios instead of original asus startup pics. I referred to this.
Oh, I see. shay_g replaced your BIOS logo with his menorah logo. But other than that the BIOS works, right?
Yeah, logo replaced. But this is not a real problem, modded bios don't working properly. (mem problem)
