Thank you, petar. The only I could do is to get .ROM and .HDR from it, but still nothing agrees to open them. Well, I have to wait for some new ideas from our chineese friends Regards.
I try this with Windows Vista Ultimate x64 with Service Pack 1, flashed with ASUSUpdate V7.13.05, and it runs OK, the OS remains activated. Many thanks.
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS5 10n bios. Sorry Petar, didn't try your solution after all those warnings. The one supplied by Inge001 is working fine, no problems.
AMI is different (fewer options to make work..IMO), maybe a little tricky (by my experience)..I think they are a bit more sensitive to flashing in windows..that is not the best way to do it for any bios flash. I think if you get another board, you should flash from another modder..for comparison sake if for nothing else..I have seen certain bios mods not work across the board..no matter who does it. I dont know if th flash from windows contributed to the failure..it did not help prevent it, for sure. There is a fair chance for failure with any flash..oem and mod..The manufacturer advises against it unless no other option for a reason..If it fails..your board may be toast I am sorry for the failure..I have looked at the bios and I do not see a problem, but I may be missing something over and over..My best success is with award..the AMI is mixed..i think that goes for most of the people modding..
I am using a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R ver. 1.0 Bios F9 motherboard. Vista starts the activation timer when waking from sleep. How do I fix this?
