Thank you 911medic for your appreciated job, activated successfully! Just one question: did something went wrong with my flashing or boot logo is no longer present? Was that the solution you found for the lack of space or it has nothing to do? Would it be safe to use ASUS MyLogo tool to add a new logo to the BIOS file before flashing, or it would erase SLIC tables? Thank you for your help.
The logos need to be all black for space..maybe next bios revision will have more space, but I think if you add a logo, it will corrupt bios... I think it best to look at post screen at boot and wait till next revision for logos and such.. This is best to keep activation and not to corrupt bios..OK?
Totally agree, looking at POST and then the activated OS is a bliss. Just wondering... Thank you again. BTW, if I flash another BIOS (say, non SLIC BIOS), will that change activation status? I think I heard of someone flashing for activation and then back to other version without loosing activation, is that possible?
I think it would deactivate..You could try it, but its still an additional bios flash. Every one brings you closer to a failure..ya know?
