Is there a way to change from the Asus oem vista without formating? because I forgot to mention that I have the modified f4 bios with dell SLIC but I need the update because of some memory issues on my motherboard. I'm really sorry about the trouble just want my computer working.
Just install the new digital certificate: slmgr.vbs -ilc C:\asus.xrm-ms If necessary this command will remove old product key, and probably certificate as well: slmgr.vbs -upk
Thank you guys, never seen such a helpful members at any foreign forum. Everything worked out great got my new Bios installed and asus oem keys and everything.
No problem, pandemic. By the way did you use the BIOS from allslics thread or the one linked above (sendspace)?
That's surprising because the only module moved was the epa logo. But there is another way to do this which is to move acpi table up. Were you able to reflash the original BIOS to get it working again? If you want to try the other method let me know.
Yeah, boards working again. Zort, Yeah, the boards working again (whew). I'll try anything, is it especially risky?
