It was definitely worth a try. The ones I made were with epa at the bottom, and oem7 at the bottom. fzeven's was acpi at bottom. When I saw it I kicked myself for forgetting to try that. I think cbrom may be updating checksums in a way that the gigabyte bios/mb doesn't like. I asked Yen about this, and I'll upload a new one later either by me or him. I think a cbrom-free one is worth a try if you're interested. Also first choice for flashing is flashspi from dos. I would just use qflash as a backup method.
Well now we/i know that tommy isa is not only resolving the s3 sleep issue with gigabyte,it also writes the slic in a different way compare to other isa bin. sorry correct me if i am wrong
That is why he wrote it..it writes the slic in two places in memory AFAIK..This has always been the case. Did these mods flash but not activate (prior mods)??
