Yes, that is the one that I used. It's the first link in the "Mod Your Own BIOS" thread in this forum. That Utility has worked for me in my last two Asus boards BIOS, P5K and now P6T. Simple and easy, flash with AFUDOS et viola!
It's a simple way to add slic to award bios. It doesn't change any of the existing modules. It just adds a new one to the end, and it works on almost all Gigabyte mb's. Tommy refers to the person who made this version of the isa module. It works better than earlier versions.
The "isa" is a module containing slic code that is added to the original bios using the cbrom utility. A cert (digital certificate) is a xxxx.xrm-ms file that you install in Vista. The cert has to match the slic code in your bios to activate. Ex. If you added HP1.BIN to your bios you would need to install HP.XRM-MS in Vista to activate. (Note: ISA1.BIN is the .rar is Asus in case you want to use it.)
Glad it worked! If you want to upload it, sendspace.com works pretty well. I checked the original F4 from Gigabyte and it has the 8.5 raid bios. (It wasn't added by a modder.) They must have gotten too many complaints since they went back to 8.0 for ver. F5. zort
