    for me this doesnt work , and installing a cert plus asus oem key
    ends in rejection of key and i dont even have SP1

    at least i was able to rearm after 3 hours of f**kin around with
    this ******* pain in a arse vista ****.

    I just dont understand what the f.. problem is....softmod (bootloader)
    works but bios mod wont work....i use ez flash to update my bios
    and i have updated gazillions of bioses in my life so i should know
    what im doing.

    The cert is imported but actviation fails on the last step..and as far
    as i can see it uses the same product key as the softmod. **** this.

    Everest shows SLIC: Software Licensing Description Table Lenght 374 Bytes

    I have tried both in Vista on IP35-E and neither works - no SLIC table in Everest.

    When you recieve that error you must flash with Afudos or Asus update in windows which is risky .

    Toshiba BIOS Help

    I have searched and searched all day and I am unable to determine the BIOS mfg. in my Toshiba M45 laptop so I can try to mod it for Vista. I have tried all the programs to help determine what it is and the best I can tell by looking in Hex Workshop is "Insyde Software"

    Is there any way to modify my Toshiba BIOS to include the SLIC table?

    Toshiba M45-S359
