You didn't do anything wrong. The isa module is causing this problem on some new Gigabyte bioses. I think isa method is still worth trying first, but when this happens oem mod (or maybe ssv3) is needed.

Here's the history of these 2 board so far..

    GA-EP45-UD3P:
    F3 (prerelease): Oem(epa) mod didn't work.
    F5: ISA worked.
    F6: ISA didn't work ; oem(black epa) worked.

    GA-EP45-UD3R:
    F3: ISA worked ; Oem(epa) mod didn't.
    F4: ISA worked
F5: no mods yet, ISA is worth a try.

yep...I wonder if the flash is a bit hinkey on some of these. We tried the isa on the custom f5 a while back and it was hit and miss. I have also seen isa work from one modder and not another?? whats up with that...

without Standard flashing between bios, there is no control...:D

The ISA on the f5 is proper ( Big Brother)..if it doesnt work, then we move on:D:D

I know we saw some cases where the old muyu ISA didn't work but Tommy ISA did. If the same ISA is used then I don't think it would make a difference who made it since it's just one command that's hard to screw up. However I think the same BIOS might work OK for one person and not another depending on other hardware installed and BIOS settings. Some functions like Dynamic Energy Saving may require more memory space to work, and the SLIC table might take away from available space depending where it's loaded.
