Please rename the file on the floppy to M3A79-T.ROM OR M3A79T.ROM (basically motherboard model.ROM) and try to recover. It is looking for the .ROM file with a specifc name and it is NOT AMIBOOT.ROM

Look at page 3-8 of the manual for the clue on what the filename should be, it is M3A79-T.ROM

You should be able to get the board back. I don't think it is the CPU. Let us know and also post which filename actually worked.

    For ceazer

With ASUS board use the procedure submitted by p4spooky but you must digit the model number witout any simbols.
In my case (see my post Behind) ASUS M3A78-T the recovery rom is M3A78T.ROM for you is M3A79T.ROM.
I hope "after" all is clear and funcionally.

Maybe clearing cmos and loading defaults would work also..This should be standard practice after flashing new bios IMHO..:D

Next time do this, or if there is a problem with the slic not appearing, try to reset the cmos..Next time.:D
