Hey n3xt2n0n3, I'm not a huge expert and I'm waiting hoping someone will help me with my BIOS as well - but your report sounds good most of the way through. What happened when you opened '326.rom'? Did it say complete, or popped up some other message, or then the computer rebooted or something? Did it do anything at all after that? Also, did you check with EVEREST Ultimate Edition to see if you now have a SLIC table? (Or if things had changed from before you did the flash?) -Od
Sounds about right, but it should give you a message for complete. I do not use, nor have I ever used winflash, so I think you should check with everest or, even better, acpiscope. Winflash is not reliable in any fashion...Use the AWDFLASH for DOS flash if available. It is an Award bios, not phoenix.. Check and advise, thats all I can offer..
sorry to bother you so much 911medic but uniflash opens thans closes its self real fast so i guess thats not an option for me. I'm to look for another program that will flash my motherboard bios
It is a dos program..You boot to dos with a bootdisk..winflash programs are not going to do a good job with these bios... Uniflash needs to be put to a bootdisk and run from pure dos... Did you check for a slic with everest or ACPIScope???You may not need to flash again..
I used ACPIScope to check, no slic just yet...I have to create a cd boot disc with uniflash on it and the new bios.
