    Hi p4spooky,

    just noticed that start/all programs is showing loads of programs highlighted as if they are new programs, not a problem for me but thought I'd give some feedback.
    also, everest/mobo/slic,facp and rsdt shows oem table id as notebook, which it isn't. again not really a problem but is there a way to edit this?

    Since you were probably using F3, try updating to original F4, clear cmos, load setup defaults, and see if it boots into Windows. If that works then try updating to the modded version afterward. I can make a different modded one tonight if it doesn't. Going to work now!

    i tried it, with original bios windows boot, when i flashed your modified bios, doesnt boot.

    I checked it with Everest and no SLIC was found under ACPI.
    These are what I have:
    -APIC
    -DSDT
    -FACP
    -FACS
    -RSD PTR
    -RSDT

    Here's a new mod, 1pelokar1.

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L
    Bios Revision: F4
    Bios Type: Award
    SLIC: Asus

    Edit: Link removed. It didn't work.

    Method used: oem module where epa was, epa readded at bottom
