    Very good then!!..Did you flash with ezflash or afudos?

    Thanks for the feedback.
    One more question, did you remove the previous cert before installing the next.
    I mean did you install asus, it activated..uninstall asus cert and install dell.

    I am a bit interested in how this works for both manufacturers..This is something left in memory, or the certs are both still present and it is activating off of the asus cert..:cool:

    i didn´t remove any cert... simply installed dell after asus was installed. maybe there are both certs installed :p
    i used ez-flash

    The ASUS is still maintaining the activation. No problem. This bios will most likely not activate an install with only the dell cert installed. You said you preferred ASUS and I did ASUS. Do you want a dell also. I could do one at another time. I have to be away for a while now....;)

    I am glad EZFlash is working..I still recommend AFUDOS and other DOS tools...:p

    This is because AMIMMWIN changes a couple of bytes in the EBB header that EZflash doesn't like.
