    For V-FrIeNd & MrGalaxy:

    -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : GigaByte GA-MA770-DS3 rev 2.0
    -Bios revision : FC
    -Bios Type : Award
    -Bios SLIC : Dell

    Edit: Link removed. V-Friend reported "mainbios checksum error". Old & new bios 8-bit checksum was 00.

    Method used: oem, epa at bottom

    Hmm 8-bit checksum is 00 for old & new bios. I'll do a SSV3 mod in case it doesn't like the EPA being moved to the bottom.

    Glad F2 worked for you SilentButcher. :)

    I did the mod the same way a F1, so perhaps there was a sideport issue that they fixed.

    The update said increased compatibility with Phenom2 CPU's and that is what I am using. Been going great still, I am so relieved, I am building this one for my brother who I owe a big favour.

    After this I will build my own PC and annoy you again :)

    Modded bios for MA770DS3(2.0) works. Thank you for it!:)
    Can you tell me, please: how did you do this:
    Checked system for place to put SLIC.
    What are the details of finding place for SLIC?

    Thank you for a detailed manual.:)
    But I didn't understand, why adding and releasing ISA module can correct the checksum?:confused:
