STOP !!!! STOP !!!!!! I went back and used the old RC6 with OTHERS in the manufacturers name and SS2 AND......AND...... SUCCESS !!!!!!!! It worked. Andy, not sure what is going on with version RC12 but found old threads my 911Medic and mentions of RC 6 in an ASUS and that made me go back to the old one. If you want I can do it again and log it? I am happy to help and learn. You put lots of efforts like others to help so it is payback time !
Please DO NOT use this thread for discussing Andy's tool issues. That is why we have a separate thread to discuss issues/report issues with the tool. This thread is for BIOS requests only. Regarding te Asrock bios, you need to select 'Use extra space to shrink' since IB_SLIC module is too big. I see no issues with RC12 so far

COMPAQ PROLIANT ML370 Dual Xeon 6 hot plug in hard drives, RAID 5 in hardware. Dual XEON 2.8GHZ processors. Anyone has got experience with such a beast ? I assume HP. Are these BIOS able to be touched? Thanks
Hello there! Few days ago I successfully "hacked" a P5Q Pro of a friend. Now I've got the same problem (Vista has deactivated) with the PC of another friend. The mainboard of the system is an ASUS A8NE-FM (code 12/16/2004-NF-CK804-A8NE-FM-00). I havn't found a fitting SLIC-BIOS, yet. Is there any for this board? It's a Fujitsu/Siemens system. Is it possible to reactivate a deactivated Vista using the BIOS hack? Thanks a lot! Greetings, Smork
I dont like the word "hack" but a modded bios will reactivate the Vista if the softmod is removed and MBR fixed..If you modded the first bios, just do the same with your other one...
