    For NameBrand:

    Since acpi table already has a slic let's try pubkey/marker method. It might not work but it's usually safe to try and is nice dynamic mod when it works.

    - Motherboard Manufacter And Model : EVGA X58 SLI
    - Bios Revision : SZ27
    - Bios Type : AWARD

    Awdflash says that with my motherboard too if the key/marker isn't already in current bios. The built in EZ Flash utility doesn't care though so that's a workaround if you have it available.

    Not sure what ezflash is. only flash method available for this board is awdflash as far as I know.

    There are some more things that could be tried such as renaming the fake slic or replacing it with a real one. I have to get going but I'm sure someone will have another mod for you to try before too long.
