    - Motherboard Manufacter And Model : Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H
    - BIOS Revision : F2
    - BIOS Type : Award BIOS
    - BIOS SLIC : any will do


    I tried the F1 from the thread All Slics but it is not working
    I can come into the bios, but it is not booting the system.
    Not from HD and DVD

    Change the SLIC table name to SLEC in the acpitbl.bin.

    The SLIC is easy to find and has intel OEM/Table id. This should cure what ails ya..:D

    It is at 0001570h...

    Thanks Medic. Yep - I did not see this. Did the change and now we have a bigger problem - CMOS checksum error and he cannot get into the BIOS. I will leave the mod link so that you/Zort can take a look at it. I will put a big warning so that no one else downloads and flash it. :(

    Can you tell me where in Everest I check if a SLIC table referenced? I have EVEREST Home Edition installed.

    So many pages

    Been searching for bios mod , but so many pages in this post.

    Looking for bios mod for:

    Motherboard - XFX GeForce 8200 MCP Socket AM2+
    Bios - American Megatrends v.02.61

    If you need more details please let me know, not sure what else to give.

    Any help would be appreciated.
