00 = last byte of system module. (Note: almost all modules end in 00) 99 = 8-bit checksum of system module. (Most bioses have an FF byte after system. If it isn't FF it is a checksum byte. If it isn't FF and you make changes to the system module you must calculate the new 8-bit checksum of the new compressed system module and update this byte.) 25 = first byte of awardext.rom. (Note: Third byte of module will always be 2D because of -lh in header)
Does it boot correctly with original F3F bios? If it's stuck at "Verifying DMI" with original bios I would try clearing cmos again and load setup defaults. We might not be able to mod this one, but we could do SSV3 mod of version F2 if you're interested.
Hi EVEREST show the SLIC table; I have also cleared the CMOS but still get a Windows Activation Error. When clicking on 'More Information'... The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer BIOS is missing a required license. Please help. Thanks
Any chance you can post the report, or an ACPIscope report?. You may have to reinstall the vista, if you have been using a softmod previously..
