    ASUS Notebook died after bios flash

    and now it happend - i tried a bios that i got from someone else - and not it won´t even boot anymore.

    i press the power button, the power led lights up, the drives work for a second (just enough time to open the dvd drive), the screen remains black, and then it powers off again.

    that´s the notebook/bios data:
    -Manufacturer: ASUS
    -Motherboard Model: X72VN Notebook
    -Bios revision: 204
    -Bios Type: AMI
    -AMI SLIC Mod v1.31

    anyone with an idea for an emergency recover blabla? any secret asus/ami key kombination to press for a emergency recover from usb or something?

    i have very important data (work) on it.

    i´m also willing to donate to whoever can help me out.

    nope, doesnt work (usb stick shows no sign of activity and notebook still powers off after a second).

    any other ideas?

    You may have to have floppy. Recovery sometimes needs a: drive. A usb floppy may be in order..
