The flash freezes on both the Modified BIOS (SSv2 and SSv3) ?
Have you tried to flash the unmodified bios?

I believe it is an HP Bios.
None of the Slic Tools (AMI, Award or Phoenix) would load that Bios.

Really Sorry for posting the same thing twice. The Motherboard is an Asus P5KPL VM/S extracted from a HCL System. HCL is a brand in India. The motherboard is exactly the same as Asus P5KPL VM and when I removed the sticker on the motherboard which had the model number(P5KPL VM/S) written on it, I found P5KPL VM printed on the motherboard underneath it.

I used the Asus Update utility on Windows to back up the BIOS already flashed on my motherboard and I have posted the link to that in my previous post. I have also posted the link to the updated BIOS from ASUS in my previous post.

I am unable to update my BIOS using DOS. I have tried using all the switches, but because the current bios is flashed with a different motherboard model, all ways to update the bios are not working. Thanks !
