actually, if you read what boards are supported by the programs, you would have noticed that AFU is on supported by the A7A, A7M, A7S, A7V, P4B, P4S, P5 (socket7), TU, TX97 series motherboarda, while the BUPDATER works on the P7 (LGA1366) Series, M4 (Socket AM3) Series, and since this one is the M4A78, only the BUPDATER will work on the board. i think you should read what boards are supported by what programs. i said i tried AFUDOS, and it didn't work. i tried the AFUWIN to see what the error was. edit: i got it to work with afudos, but the mod didn't seem to work properly. slic toolkit 3.2 tells me there are issues with the RSDT tables in that modded bios you supplied. i installed it in dos off a bootable usb drive i made, ran it afudos /i2301ssv3.rom /pbnc /n like it said in the tutorial, and i got the RSDT issues.
