You have something that is interfering with that BIOS Mod, either you used a Loader or that Win 7 is Pre-Activted.
I inserted an HP-CPC SLIC 2.1 and that shows ASUS SLIC 2.1.
You need to remove whatever you used and Flash my BIOS Mod and Manually install the Certificate I provided and the HP OEM SLP Key.

OK, Windows 7 HP OEM installed however it is not activated. Checking SLIC tables (using SLIC Toolkit v3.2) reveals that there is no SLIC present in the BIOS however running Andy P's tool reveals that there should be. Is there anything else I can try?

This is the kind of post that puts me in a bad mood... Nothing is "blocking" the mod. I have NOT used any loaders, win7 is NOT pre-activated AND I tried BOTH HP and ASUS slics with the exact same results in the pictures.

This last attempt was on a fresh install of Win7 (after a format)... no updates, no drivers... not even internet access on the off chance that MS might have found a way to block the cert/lic installs.

I have two UN-modded ISO copies of Win 7 Ultimate... one is x86 and the other is x64. These are confirmed good copies with hash checks and I've been using these ISOs since Win7 released.

I may not know how to mod the BIOS... but I'm not an complete idiot on activating Win7 either (I've been here since the early days of Vista too). I've NEVER used a loader and have ONLY ever used the BIOS mods with physical flashing of the BIOS.

Now, when I look at the pictures I provided... why does one section say "HP laptop" while another says "Asus laptop"? When I view the thread of that program, everything matches with one manufacture.

I hope I don't sound ungrateful... because I very much am for all the help... but please try to give me some credit and let's fix the BIOS issue and not start accusing me having some funny messed up ISO and loaders.

BTW... I flashed YOUR bios mod per YOUR instructions and used YOUR provided HP cert... when that failed, I then tried MY HP cert... when that failed I then tried an ASUS cert... and when that failed I posted a failure. Also, the only way I do these activations are the manual way... here are the basic instructions I've followed since VISTA.

    Disable UAC
Copy xxx.XRM-MS file to root "C:"
Run "Command Prompt" as Admin and type:
slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\xxxxx.xrm-ms (wait for confirmation)
    then enter
slmgr.vbs -ipk 2Y4WT-DHTBF-xxxxxxxxxxxxx (wait for confirmation)

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I explained this in my previous posts and I hate repeating myself.

So I've now tried using afudos with NO switches... just the simple command "afudos xxxx.rom"

After a restart I now have this showing on the advanced screen... currently using an ASUS Cert... but honestly would prefer to be using the HP certs for a compaq PC.

Again, it appears to be an issue with the SLIC and not the key/cert... which again points to the BIOS mod.
