Untouched. The only cause or explanation I have is that I didn't clear the CMOS (or is called an RTC now with EFI).

Just to check do I have to install any SLP certificates?

Just flash bios (I hope you've a recovery bios chip like many modern motherboards), load Windows 7 and then copy
ASUS.XRM-MS 2.1 SLIC Cert on your root drive (C:\) and use SLMGR.VBS -ILC C:\ASUS.XRM-MS syntax command
from command prompt (execute that command with admin rights). ;)

SLP is only used for XP Activation so it is Not necessary for Win 7 Activation.

Thanks! I'll give some feedback by tomorrow evening as to how the activation went, it's a little late in the day to be doing anything today.

I haven't done anything yet because I wanted to back up all my files in case I make a mistake. I'm waiting on a different ex.hdd because the one I had died after using it once. I still want to thank you for helping. I'll get there then I will post results I notice in the postings that some were asking for a windows ultimate 7 certificate. I thought all was needed after the mods on the bios is to download the windows 7 dvd that was provided here.
