I never got problems with @bios as i own a Gigabyte mobo my self (GA-X48-DQ6). Are you sure you downloaded the correct bios ?
Always use FLASHSPI from DOS with these mods. You take a chance with Qflash if you must. @Bios is a disaster in waiting. If you value your board, flash from DOS. Every GB bios downloads with a flash tool, and the modders will re-upload the entire package. Use the proper tools for lesser risk.
There are 3 files when i download a bios from gigabyte, what should i do with them ? run the .bat file only ?
You can either run the bat file, or type FLASHSPI bios.f4 at prompt. It is up to you. I used the flashspi as generic and the bios designation also. Substitute the files provided. The bat is nice and simple. If it is autoexec.bat, it will run as soon as the disk boots.
It is a autoexec.bat also this line is in the bat file flashspi x48dq6.f7. But i used @bios because i dont have a floppy drive (that one died for me for years), also i dont have a usb flashdrive. Thats why PS: Is it possible to boot them with a cd ? like cdrw ?
Wow.. very fast... Thanks man.. I'll test and after I'll post in SLIC Mod Tested thread. Thankfull. Chubila
