    I'm aware of that but I would still using a key that matched my SLIC just to be safe.

    Me too.... but just think ~ modded a MSI bios, install Win 7 Ultimate & will use an OEM:SLP key - what to do?? :Lighten:

    Mod it with an ACER SLIC and use the ACER key or any other that has a matching key.
    I just lilke them to match whenever possible to be sure it is as Future proof as possible. ;)

    I changed the key to match the Dell OEM SLIC, but I'm still worried it will fail. Can I change my request to use the ACER one, as you recommend, with the newer A74 revision? Thank you for your assistance.
