After placing the AMIBOOT.ROM file on a 2GB FAT formatted USB stick (the nettop has no way to do a floppy drive) and powering up,
it acts like it is reading the USB stick, but never does anything else.

I have also tried this with a FAT formatted 64MB usb stick, same thing... it will just light up the activity light on the USB stick for a few seconds, then wait for 15 seconds, and do it again.
It will loop like this for hours without actually doing anything more.

I had an MSI board that had to have its bios recovered and I remember that the recovery was looking for the bios file to be named something else other than AMIBOOT.ROM, could that be possible in this case?

It does appear that the USB drive is being checked but its not finding what it wants.

    Thanks
