I have an MSI 1037 laptop with American Megatrends 080012 (03/05/2007). Information taken from boot screen and CPU-Z utility.
What is the latest version of this BIOS I can install?

    Just a question to SERG008 or NOJUAN999 perhaps .
Talking about Gigabyte there are a flash utility to work from windows named @flash or something like that.
Since almost everybody agree you'd better to flash from dos Gigabyte usually recommends Qflash and you can access to on starting system.
Recently I realize that if you download any bios version and open rar file there are another program inside FLASHSPI.EXE for same purpose.
And that's the question, would you prefer Qflash or FLASHSPI.EXE. What's difference btw or is it the same.
    Thanks in advance.

I recommend using FLASHSPI, due to the fact that QFlash doesn't always fully update the BIOS to include the new SLIC info.
FlashSPI has proven to fully update the BIOS in every case so far.
For some MB's QFlash may work fine but for others it doesn't, so the choice is up to you.

That's what Gigabyte recommend now as well. I supose so. What's new for me is that GB webside has changed the rar file format for bios download and now FLASHSPI.EXE is included inside.
Thanks a lot NOJUAN999 for the answer and your great work
