    Hi,

Thank you so much for making this. I see that the marvell BIOS was updated to 1.0.0.1029 and the Intel RAID to 10.6.0.1091, but not the Marvell firmware it self (still 2.1.0.1413 & 1.0.0.1213). Is there a way to incorporate all the 3 pieces for Marvell?

    Should look like this:
    View attachment 12597

This is the Marvell in the 1003 ASUS ROM:
    Firmware for MV-9123/9128 (Firmware:1.0.0.1213 & 2.1.0.1413/mvflash:1.0.0.2423/HostBIOS:1.0.0.1019)

This is the latest Marvell firmware in the package I attached in my previous post:
    Firmware for MV-9123/9128 (Firmware:1.0.0.1701/2.2.0.1118/1.0.0.1029)

    Summary:
1.0.0.1029 -> Marvell BIOS Option ROM (OK)
2.2.0.1118 -> Marvell Firmware (Not updated)
1.0.0.1701 -> Marvell Firmware (Not updated)
10.6.0.1091 - Intel RAID Firmware (OK)

    Thank you.

PS: It is no problem to update the Marvell firmware alone with the Marvell update tools, but the problem is that the Asus BIOS is "feeling" that this firmware has been changed after the reboot and so it reverts back to whatever version that is included in the Asus ROM making it impossible to update the Marvell without changing it in the actual Asus ROM.

haven't seen this message, thanks, i'll try

    Hi,

No problem. They are all in there though, in the file I attached. However, using mmtool you can take a look at the E7 block in the Asus 1003 ROM, this contains some of the firmware.

I don't know which bits goes where, that is the problem.
