    Hi,

    No problem. They are all in there though, in the file I attached. However, using mmtool you can take a look at the E7 block in the Asus 1003 ROM, this contains some of the firmware.

    I don't know which bits goes where, that is the problem.

    Hi,
    l have a Hitachi 2tb drive(mlc:mnl580) with win 7 home premium installed(running fine)and
    l'd like it to run on my Asus p5k se motherboard.
    the bios for the asus is 1104 (flashed with asus utility)

    In the bios it doesn't give me an option for Ahci only ide.
    The bios does recognize the hard-drive but won't boot from it.
    much internet reading lead me to assume l need ahci in the Bios
    to boot the hard-drive. Is this the case?

    Any help appreciated.
