    @ipmark:

    Anyway what's the risk, my motherboard has a recovery bios system that prevent this kind of thing and I just checked, all the intel OROM bios are > to 110kb since 10.5 so I don't really have a choice :-/

    What kind of utility do you recommend me to use to flash, the one provided by Asus running in windows or bootable one?

    ps: sounds normal everything moved, intel orom are never the same size from one to another, hope you replaced the right module

    Flash from DOS with included flash utility.

    In the package there are 3 batch files:
    Original.bat - Flash the original bios.
    INTEL.bat - Flash the original bios with Intel RAID Option ROM updated to v10.8 ONLY
    INT_SLIC.bat - Flash the original bios with Intel RAID Option ROM updated to v10.8 AND ASUS SLIC-SLP

    Before start, be sure to have everything for bios recovery
