    Can somebody help me with this one ?

    -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model :Toshiba Satellite L40-14B version number PSL4CE 004005G3
    -Bios Revision :Ami Bios V1.60 date 09/19/2007
    -Bios Type : AMI

    The bios I can not find on the Toshiba site.
    I am a little confused,because there are many L40 series, I dont want to have an incorrect bios version.

    I really dont know which bios version I can use.

    Only want to have a bios with slic 2.1

    Boot to bios and see if the version is listed. should be on the main page..

    The 2.00 bios says this..
    The 5.50 is for XP OS...If you are running W7, the 2.00 is the ticket..I have run updates labeled "Vista only" with XP and no issues..and vice-versa

    Than you both NoJuan and 911medic,

    I collected the 2.00 version that nojuan gave me.
    I run now windows 7 but the winflash.exe what was included, does not running.
    I see only a quick black screen (1 second), must i make a bootable cd with al the files on the disk ?

    Try Asus's winflash with /NODATE option , run :
