    I can confirm that its defo an ASUS M5A78L-MX LX board
    Strangely none of the bupdaters could locate the elusive update module nor make backups for same reason

    However AFUDOS successfully flashed bios
    Booted into windows ran SLIC Toolkit and SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you for your help and patience x10

    Now for a clean install of win 7......
