Ipmark, Thank you very much for taking the time to create the mod for me, most appreciated. I have a quick question if you can spare a minute, to flash the BIOS with the Dell 2.1 SLIC do I simply edit the "Original.bat" file from: bupdater /i3203.ROM pause to bupdater /iDELLSLIC.ROM pause then type in the command C:\original.bat with my files at the root level on the C:\drive? Is the letter "i" before the numbers 3203 relevant to the command line (bupdater /i3203.ROM)? Finally, Could I do it using a bootable USB stick and use an autoexec.bat file instead of original.bat? Thx
Original.bat file flash the original (unmodded) bios file Mod DELL.bat file flash the modded bios (DELL SLIC) Mod ASUS.bat file flash the modded bios (ASUS SLIC) All files are "ready to use" and you don't have to modify anything. Simply put all files from the biosmod package in a bootable USB drive and run the batch file that match your needs.
ASUS, I think. To be sure, flash the mod and then check the SLIC table in memory with SLIC Toolkit, Advanced tab.
